Ruševine (translated: Ruins) is a growing project indexing the ruins from the by war devastated areas of Croatia, started in 2008. It contains a growing database of photographs and video. During my trips I locate and photograph ruined houses and gather their information, things as coordinates, names of villages and a description of my findings are used in the physical and digital archive. The images show us houses which have lost their function by violence. The ruins are witnesses of a broad cultural devaluation. They have lost their purpose and are left there as witnesses of a painful human history. These houses are preserved as images and the archive with their photographs and written comments and details forms a historical document. In December 2008 the Project is given a grant by Fonds BKVB
